What You Need to Know

- We have been caring for small dogs, in our home since 2017.

- There are no kennels or cages.

- We take care of well behaved dogs for short term and long term.

- Size Matters: We care for small dog breeds, typically around 20 pounds or under. A dog’s height and length also matter — pups that can reach cupboards or kitchen tables may be too tall for our setup.
- We require a Meet & Greet before booking, so we can make sure it’s a comfortable and safe fit for everyone.

- Dogs should be house trained, spayed or neutered and have valid vaccinations.

- They are fed separately so we can avoid any allergy issues through cross bowl access.

- They sleep in the master bedroom at night, they join in on walks when the weather permits.

- They become members of the family while they are in our home.

What to Bring

1. Food and treats that your dog usually eats. (Enough to last their stay)

2. Bring a blanket or piece of clothing with your scent so they can dream about you when they sleep.

3. Bring a kennel/cage if your dog sleeps in it at night. If they don't sleep in a kennel/cage then there is no need to bring one.

4. We have lots of toys, but bring the toy your pup sleeps with. Toys become fair game when other pups are around.

5. Bring any medication your dog is currently taking.

6. Marla and Spud are great hosts, they let the humans know when it's treat time. No one gets left out of treat time.

7. Bring leashes/harnesses if your dog is a walker.

What we need to Know

1. We need to know any feeding instructions, if applicable.

2. If you are leaving town, it's very important that we have an emergency contact.

3. Name and number of your current veterinarian and a copy of recent vaccinations.

4. We need to know of any allergies or intolerances.

5. We need to know if your dog is used to walking. We take dogs that are well behaved on walks. If your dog isn't used to walking we don't force the issue.
